Morgantown, WV, 8/11/2016 – NextGen Federal Systems, LLC, an innovative information technology and professional services provider headquartered out of Morgantown, West Virginia, proved it is ready for business by being named Inc.500’s 211th fastest-growing private company in America.
“For 35 years, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private companies in America into a very exclusive club,” said Eric Schurenberg, Inc. Media President. “On average, the companies on the list have grown almost nine-fold over the past three years. That’s a result most businesses can only dream of.”
The Inc.500 is a ranking of the country’s top 500 fastest-growing private companies based on percentage of revenue growth over a four-year period, and newcomer NextGen has certainly shown its ability to grow. With only 5 years under its belt, NextGen’s impressive ranking of 211th in the country shows it is priming to become a dominant force in the Defense Industry.
“This market is extremely competitive,” said vice president of federal initiatives, JP Lapps. “For NextGen to have made the top 211 fastest-growing companies in the country while working in this tough environment really says something about how extraordinary our staff is.”
NextGen was founded in 2010 by Jay Reddy, previous founder and CEO of ProLogic, a successful 8(a) small business. Over the past five years, NextGen has grown from a one-person business to nearly 60 employees across three locations, Morgantown, WV, Aberdeen, MD, and Dayton, OH. The small business also employees 25 part-time student interns who support NextGen’s internal research and development, while providing valuable experience to the students.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment for NextGen,” said Founder and CEO, Jay Reddy. “We are still a small company, but we have built a sound platform for continued growth.”
This impressive achievement comes after the company celebrated the grand opening of its newest office in Dayton, Ohio. “It has taken a lot of hard work over the past couple of years to get us to where we are today,” said senior vice president, Chetan Desai. “Our employees are among the best in the industry, and they have a commitment to remain customer-centric.”
Over the years, the Inc. 500 has featured companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, and Under Armour. “We hope to remain at the top of this list for years to come,” said Desai, “We are steadfast in delivering cost effective and timely solutions and know we can do it.”
