ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. — Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) hosted the annual, installation-wide Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) on January 30th through February 2nd. The APBI is designed to unite small and large businesses with government representatives of each major APG organization to provide detailed information on potential contracting opportunities with the Army. NextGen was honored by being selected to represent HUBZone Small Businesses on the Small Business panel during the conference’s first day. JP Lapps, NextGen’s Vice President of Business Development, spoke on behalf of NextGen. The first day of the conference was dedicated to small business practices, policy and opportunities and included varied discussions with the APG Small Business Office officials, and government contracting and legal representatives.
