David Benedict is the Division Manager of the Joint Intelligence Division with a portfolio that includes Cyber Defense, Information Assurance, Electronic Warfare, and software modernization, transitioning software systems into DevSecOps frameworks and culture for DISA and other DOD customers. David is a West Point Graduate and has an MBA from the Robert H Smith School of Business. A former Military Intelligence officer with over 20 years of Military and Industry experience and a proven track record of building, developing, and leading organizations focused on solving operational and technical challenges. His previous accomplishments include transitioning major software system cyber research and development programs from rapid research and development to formal programs of record within the DOD, DOJ, and the Intelligence Community. This effort resulted in securing an $80M sole source IDIQ positioning a small firm for a significant acquisition, along with maintaining continuity and delivery for various classified DOD and IC customers.
