Alex Matthews, Chief Engineer, focuses on Digital Transformation related solutions, driving innovative capabilities for the company’s DoD programs and business divisions. He evangelizes the Digital Trinity concept, including Digital Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), DevSecOps, Agile Transformation, Software and Systems Architecture Modernization, and Cloud/Kubernetes implementations. As a Technical Lead and Chief Architect, he is responsible for the technical execution of the DISA C2 Software Factory (C2SF). Alex also supports organic program growth, IR&D project ideation and execution, and provides technical expertise to business development and capture efforts to accelerate company growth. Alex has developed and advised EW, Radar, ELINT, mission systems, training, MS&A, and weather solutions across the systems/software lifecycles for AFLCMC, AFRL, DIA/NASIC, NAVAIR/NAWC, and Army PEO IEW&S, applying MBSE and DevSecOps expertise. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, has taken courses in the M.S. Computer Science program at the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned several excellence/star awards for customer recognition, and holds several certifications, including ISC2 CSSLP, AWS CCP, SAFe, and AGI STK L1 and L2.
